In the twelfth edition of the Korea Wine Challenge, which took place between the 7th and 17th of June in Korea, one of the emblematic varieties of the Maipo Valley of the brand Gran Reserva Tarapacá excelled with Gold Medal.
The Gran Reserva Tarapacá Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 stood out amongst the 814 wines from 18 different countries that participated in the competition, which were tasted by a select panel of international specialists.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine with a “deep reddish purple color with classic Maipo flavors of black fruit, dried apricots and black cherry with tobacco notes. It has a long finish with licorice berry and spicy cherry notes with sweet tannins and balanced acidity”.
The Korea Wine Challenge is regarded as the most important wine and spirits competition in the country.
