James Suckling carried out the latest 2018 version of his Great Wines of the Andes event in the USA at the end of September and beginning of October. The US critic is one of the greatest experts in the wine industry and has explored the world’s most prominent viticultural regions.
On this occasion, Miami, New York and San Francisco were selected for the great event, which aims to highlight the finest wines from Chile, Argentina and Uruguay.
Among exponents chosen for the occasion were Gran Reserva Tarapacá Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 which received 93 points and Gran Reserva Tarapacá Organic Wine 2016 with 92 points. These scores were awarded in Suckling´s latest report entitled “Chile Shows Limitless Quality”, published on the website at the beginning of the year.
Furthermore, in his report published in February this year, the expert also drew attention to other wines from the elegant brand’s portfolio. Among those were the Gran Reserva Tarapacá Etiqueta Azul 2015 with 95 points, the Gran Reserva Tarapacá Etiqueta Negra 2016 with 94 points and the Gran Reserva Tarapacá Blend Series #2 with 92 points.
The three events enhanced visibility of these wines originating from the Maipo Valley and in each city the new Great Wines of the Andes event was characterized by excellent organization and impressive attendance.
