Gran Reserva Tarapacá Etiqueta Negra 2017 stands out with 91 points in Wine Enthusiast

The Buying Guide of the November edition was recently released for the prestigious US magazine, Wine Enthusiast, in which one of the wines comprising Viña Tarapacá’s Ultra Premium portfolio received an outstanding score.

Gran Reserva Tarapacá Etiqueta Negra 2017 – which is the finest expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley – stood out with 91 points in the new edition of the Buying Guide.

On this occasion, Michael Schachner, the magazine editor for Argentina, Chile and Spain selected this elegant wine, describing it as follows:

“Olive, tobacco, eucalyptus, and grainy oak aromas are front and center on a classic Chilean Cabernet nose. On the palate, this is piped full of resiny oak and cutting acidity. Flavors of spiced plum, vanilla, chocolate, and wood grain give way to clearer blackfruit notes on a juicy, intense finish”.

This excellent score demonstrates the exceptional quality in these wines which are supported by various acknowledgments and a great sense of tradition, from a winery with over 140 years’ history.
