Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra features in Editors’ Choice section of Wine Enthusiast

Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra, the elegant wine which best expresses Cabernet Sauvignon from the Maipo Valley, stood out with a special mention in October’s edition of Wine Enthusiast.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon was included in the Editors’ Choice section of the US magazine buying guide with 90 points and a tasting description as follows from Michael Schachner: “Given that 2016 was no easy year in Chile for red wines, this one is a success. Dark, minty aromas of berry fruits come with creamy oak. It feels saturated and at full volume. The oak flavors are filled out with ripe berry fruit, and it’s chocolaty on the finish”.

The wine originates from the sector called El Mirador of the Rosario Estate, located mainly along the sunny hill borders. This soil profile gives for a Cabernet Sauvignon with plenty of character and intense red fruit aromas.
